Announcing RKO Shorts units releases for 1932


                        To Be Released

                           This Season

Aesop's Fables will be made by the Van

   Beuren Corporation.   This series is also

   well-known in the cartoon field.

Average Man Comedies, with Edgar Ken-

   nedy as the  aggravated   husband   and

   father continuing the series he has made

   so popular.

Charlie Chaplin's Comedies, some of his

   best-known shorts will be re-issued with

   sound and musical effects. There will be

   no dialogue or new scenes, however.

Clark and McCullough in a series of com-

   edies of the type they have made famous.

Harry Sweet, the diminutive comedian will

   appear in a series which he also directs.

The Headliners Series will include    such

   comedians as Hugh Herbert and Roscoe

   Ates. Various other stars will be signed

   during the course of the season.

"Last Frontier," a  serial  from   Courtly

   Riley Cooper's story.   The picture re-

   counts the tale of the pioneers of the

   northwest and their fight with jealous In-

   dians  and  treacherous   whites.  With

   Creighton Chaney, Dorothy Gulliver and

   Francis X. Bushman, Jr.

The Masquers Club will again make a se-

   ries of burlesks, many   of its  famous

   members included in the casts.

Mickey McGuire's Series will be continued.

   He will appear as a regular   fellow in

   various situations.

Pathe Reviews, culled from the clips of

   Pathe News which goes all     over  the

   world picking up strange and unusual

   events and interesting places and people.

The  Vagabond   Adventure     Series, with

   various scenes of little-known places of

   the world told in a romantic way by an

   offscreen voice.

Tom and Jerry   Cartoons,   already  well-

   known, will be continued as before.
